Oh, hello! Surprise!

I know I've totally been missing from this blog, but I've been really lazy and seriously I've got nothing much to blog about. Oh, I'm still surprise to see that people actually still visit this blog. Probably clicked on the wrong URL or just plain bored. Lol.

So, anyway, I've been thinking of reviving this blog again. Part of me feels like updating this regularly because it is kinda fun to actually blog and I miss taking pictures of everything, but another part knows that after awhile, this blog will become dead again.

Haha. Yes, I'm like that; I don't really maintain things after awhile because it gets old and boring. It's a surprise that I maintained this blog for almost 2 years before this.

anyway, just finish 2 of my finals today. 2 down, 2 to go. now i've got plenty of time linger and 'rest'. omg i like it that there's time in between exams for us to study, but the fact that it goes on for so long it's like just get over it already.

me studying, or not studying. i mean i was studying, not talking. :)

i bought shoes again!!! teeheeeee i dont know what's up with me and shoes lately. so far, i've bought 4 shoes in november, the last pair courtesy of mummy. hahahaha i love pumps!! thank god it's december already and i'm on a shoe ban now.

it's 12.50am now and i'm very sleepy. i woke up at 6.30am today for philosophy exam which was at 8am. philosophy exam was..tough. :( economics exam was slightly better, but i mostly crap my way through cause i was kinda sleepy and i just wanted to get it over with.

my cgpa is a lost case now. no more getting scholarship whatsoever.

ok even i dont know what i'm crapping about now. ciao. rest again tomorrow before hardcore studying on wednesday until next tuesday night. oh god i'm so scared of quantitative methods. screw you statistics and albert who cant teach. bring me back to my foundation stats teacher please (i suddenly forgot her name). i used to be so pro in stats, now i'm just a lost case who copies in quizzes, albeit one who always copies correctly and tembak answer correct lol. :(

This week, we learn about reality and being. Is this world that we are living in the real reality? Is there some other world we do not know of which might be more real than this? Is virtual reality real? These are some of the questions asked in this chapter.

First, we learnt about Form and Matter and what different philosopher said about them. Personally, I agree with Aristotle. I believe that the Form and Matter are connected together in the mind. Without Form, Matter will be just raw materials or ideas that have no use on its own. With Form however, Matter can
become something useful, such as a chair. Also, senses might not always tell us the truth, but I think it can tell us about reality and what is real. It is through the senses that we first glimpse this world and learn about everything. Yes, this world might not be the real or perfect world, but isn’t this world the
closest we can get to finding out what is real at the moment? So, we might as well make full use of our senses to gain knowledge about this world while we still can.

Besides that, we learnt to ask what is real and what is not real. How can we know and who decides these things? Most of us just accept these ideas without really thinking it through clearly (Yeah, 2008).

my birthday was on the 21st of october. i celebrated with the tunas on the 18th. went and have dinner at this koren restaurant because darren was craving for it and i wanted to eat something like that.

after that, hung out in carrefour's kepong carpark - ya you did not read wrong we hung out at the carpark lol - while waiting for us to become not so full, and that DESSERT!!!! which was super yummy can.

now you know where we had dinner.

last year for merdeka, we went and drink at laundry at curve. this year, we went curve again but no laundry this time. =( they were charging RM50 each person because they were having this thing.

in the end, watched death race 3 instead. awesome movie. :) got out just in time for fireworks, and ciaoed during the fireworks as well.

yup. it's time for another update. i noticed it's been such a loooongggg time since i did a picture post, way back from june's pictures. oopss. so this is like a recap of the pictures and things these past few months. lol.

Charity Aid Concert organized by our class. erm some of the preformances were great, others not so. got kinda boring in the middle with all the singing going on. left early LOL.

darren, marvin, and christy came as well! :)

julia came back for a month during june/july and this is the last saturday that we spent together. first we went to bijou bazaar and bangsar shopping. then at night went dinner and went to her house berchit-chatting and camwhore. babe i miss you la!

we wanted to try to sausage pizza since the first week i worked there. finally, we had our pizza day 1 month later. oh well, at least we had our pizza day right. had lunch with ee fei's colleagues from IS department.

I am blogging from work right now. J

Today, we made sandwich in our office’s pantry. Upon discovering our pantry and the toaster and microwave in there, we made full use of them by making sandwiches there. Pictures will be posted up once I go back and upload them. (Yes we took pictures cannot is it?)

Selecting electives are such a bitch, and I’m taking 2 of them the next sem. ADP subjects start next, and I’m taking 1 of them – Intro to Mass Comm. Please let it be good. I’ll be taking another elective from business department. Not sure what yet but there are no better alternatives at ADP so business it is. Please don’t let it clash with my beautiful schedule now.

I only have 3days classes so far. J))))) I don’t mind that I have super long break, as long as I don’t have to come to college for like so many days. You think petrol so cheap is it?

Other than that, I actually kinda like work now. Sigh. Can’t imagine having to go to classes and having exams and all that stuff now.

Anyway, Im just blogging because Im super bored, and because I just sorted out my schedule (yes at work), and because I feel like it.

Oh oh went to threadszoo last Saturday (haha ya Im only talking about it now), and got like 2 more bargains. I heart junk sales la. Please have more of it thank you.

Also, we had a little informal gathering for primary school schoolmates last sunday. Yes primary school ok it’s like I dont remember half of them and the only ones I’ve kept touch with is Darren and Marvin lol. Around 15 people said they are attending the event on facebook and only 9 of us showed up. Anyway it was quite fun la chatting with them and bitching about people lol. ok time to update again.

work is fine. i think i have the easiest job of all out of the 3 interns from my intake, teehee. and when i have nothing to do, i play freecell and check my emails, and more recently, find free e-books to read - so i can pretend i'm doing work even better haha.

i check my mail like gazillion times a day, so i think you can get an idea of how free I am.

and i kinda like our building because i can see random hot mat salleh in the elevator, walking on the streets, and eating in rice bowl. all the eye candy makes it so worth it LOL.

ohh for once right, i am feeling rich!!! just because i got my pay (although it's quite little, but i'm not complaining though for a 6-day trainee pay), i sold off some of my stuff, and more upcoming jobs. yala haven get pay yet that's why i say i FEEL rich.

come september, i'll BE rich. muahaha.

ok fine. rich-ish.

anyway, went to bijou bazaar yesterday, and it was funnnnn although there were a few set backs at first.

me and ling got lotsa bargains. for myself, i got a dress, a work top and a necklace for less than RM50. =)))

the necklaces that we got - mine is the rocking horse (so cute right!!) and the rest is ling's. each necklace is RM15 and less. =)))

at night, went to bbq at alvin's house. me, ee fei and meng li got left by the 2 guys. so we went all the way to wangsa maju based on alvin's friend's direction and road signs. haha quite fun also la.

food was yummy, marshmallow was even more yummylicious, heard lotsa dirty jokes, drank some dessert made by xing - all in all, it was quite fun. =)

2 days in a row.

i cant believe i'm blogging 2 days in a row. but whatever, i feel like it.

anyway, work isnt so bad today. at least i have something to do ok, eventhough it's kinda annoying.

my task was to write a transcript. the point is, i have to listen to this video and write down the dialogue. ya so every 2 seconds or so, i have to pause and type. oops cannot hear clearly/they talk too soft and i have to go backwards and listen to the same thing again. sometimes for several times ok until i cannot tahan and just write some nonsense there. oops probably shouldnt mention that huh.

40 minutes of the video video and i took the whole day to do it. started around 11something, lunch at 1-2, finished at 5.15pm. aini's right - 10minutes of the video takes 1 freaking hour to transcript.

i really hope i have something to do tomorrow - even if it's the same job. at least it helps passes time ok, however unpleasant it is.

and oh my god my eyes are going to be so damaged by the end of august. basically, i stare at the computer from 9-5.30 monday to friday, and then go home and stare at the computer again.

moving on, i realize today working people are so sad ok. a typical day goes like this:

wakes up at 7 something, reach office at 9, works until 5, and then you only have the night to hang out and stuff and then before you know it, you have to go to bed, and the cycle repeats itself everyday from monday to friday.

oh anyway, accepted the job. 5 hours for RM80 - way worth my time ok, and the job is probably one of the easiest ever. no sales or promoting required. basically i just have to give out free stuff, and come on malaysians wont refuse free stuff ok. the best thing is they came to me instead of the other way round haha.

speaking about jobs, la casa did not call me. ishhhh i'm kinda looking forward to working there. i was thinking of working nights and weekends there to earn more moolah, and now it's crush. jeez.

ok enough about jobs. erm but then basically my life revolves around working nowadays because my social life is kinda like nada. so sad right see how sad is working people.

ok must go now and do all my stuff, must appreciate time more now. lol.

Szen's first day of internship

7.48am: ok i really should get up. dont want to be late for my first day of work. *gets up and get ready*

8.17am: omg faster la i'm gonna be late. *heads down and drink milk*

8.20am: *starts engine and off to work i go*

8.20am - 8.50am: ok shit shit i'm gonna be so late faster la faster. oh lucky dont have to wait for traffic light. ok faster go go whee reach already faster find parking and park.

8.51am - 8.55am: omg why are there so many stairs. faster climb la gonna be late dy. ok one more flight of stairs. phew. *breaths like i have been exercising for the past 30 minutes* faster cross road la and press on the lift. *breaths heavily some more*

8.56am: phew i'm here on time thank god. ok so i gotta wait for the fellow now.

9.05am: aiya still not here ah that person? omg headache la tai sei who ask me sleep so late last night.

9.15am: oh at last you are here. wah head still aches.

9.30am: finish briefing and everything. got introduced to my colleague. ya colleague. ONE. because everyone else in my department is not there yet. oh shit la should have sleep until later abit hahah.

9.35am: oh whee i have my own table and computer, oh and my own company email. so cool! eh why the mouse no scroller wan? so pariah la. must get used to it now. ish. wah why the screen so big wan? oh must be the resolution.

10.00am: aiya i finish reading the company website already. now what? turns to colleague and ask.

11.00am: colleague sends email attached with some stuff and i also read finish already. shit la i should have read slower right.

11.17am: receive a call about a job offer. oh whee good money should accept anot ah? better ask mom first. *continue reading happily thinking about the job*

11.30am: colleague asks me to read some folders about some companies information. fuhhh i'm impressed so many big names there. *opens folder* oh shit i feel guilty la isnt this supposed to be top secret or something? i dont feel nice opening them. *closes folder* *continuing doing the same thing for the next few folder* ok fine let's just click i really have nothing to do already. *click* cheh nothing wan so potong steam grrh.

11.45am: great. i have nothing to do now. eh can check email anot wan ah? *peeks over at colleague's computer. hmm kereta.com? should not be right researching right? aiya sei la how ah? should check mail or not? *hand itchy*

12.00pm: *yawns* wah very sien. what should i do? *click click click* aiya let's open some company thingie so they think im looking at something important. oh what the heck la just check mail. *click click*

12.22pm: oh great la. very sien. *looks at clock* hmm 12.22pm already. what time is lunch ah? hmm let's sms ee fei.

12.25pm: oh wheeeee lunch time already. aiya gotta ask colleague's help to get out of the room (i dont have the card thingie yet where you just flash and the door will open).

12.35pm: meets ee fei for lunch. walk around abit. ended eating nasi ayam at ali maju.

1.25pm: ok i'm back at the office. now what? oh since there's nobody let's check mails and all that stuff.

2.00pm: why is everyone not back yet? isnt lunch time supposed to be over at 2? ahh nvm let's go through some websites.

2.05pm: sees another colleague. asks do you have anything for me to do? oh oh whee got something to do.

2.15pm: aiya so long already. where is she la? asks the colleague beside me whether he has anything for me to do. oh fine dont have.

2.20pm: sends email asking about the username and password for the learning thing.

2.25pm: waits for email.

2.30pm: phew at last she's here. ok so now i have to read again. read read read. omg very boring la. i cannot tahan anymore. *sms type type sms*

2.38pm: got a message from darren. omg marvin got the job at la casa already. shit i also wan la.

3.00pm: eh only 3pm. read slower la. still have to survive 2 and half more hours here. zzz. i want to sleep already. let's close eyes for a minute.

3.30pm: aiya let's play mr. bean on my phone la. *plays for a few rounds* ok let's concentrate back on the reading.

4.00pm: oh wheeee 4 pm already. i still have 1 and 1/2 more hours only.

4.45pm: oh great la i've read everything already. die. sien. why i got nothing to do wan?!?!?!?! oh whee 45 more minutes before balik rumah.

5.00pm: aiya check email some more la. *click click* ok let's open the window and pretend im reading something important. *play mr.bean on my phone some more*

5.20pm: yes 10 more minutes only!!!

5.29pm: eh why no one leaving yet wan? ok nvm wait still got 1 more minute.

5.30pm: eh ya wor everyone still not leaving yet. how?? should i go or what? aiya nvm wait for awhile samore.

5.40pm: wah they all very hardworking la. why no one leaving yet???

5.45pm: aiya cannot tahan already. asks colleague whether can i leave anot. oh he say can. whee asks his help to open the door again.

5.46pm: *presses lift button* wheeeee i can go home already.

6.20: reaches home. fuhhhh what a super boring day. proceed to tell mom everything over dinner.

sigh. as you can see. i've had a really boring day. plus not enough sleep makes it even harder to tahan ok.

i really dread going back tomorrow. but i guess tomorrow will be better, cause the fella says if tomorrow there's still nothing to do, i'm gonna be transfered to HR.

hahahaha i would have something to do at last instead of bumming around the whole day with nothing to do.

job or internship?!?

SO HOW?

i'm so confused. should i just accept the internship or go find a job?!?

the fellow called me just now. she asked whether i can start on monday or not. i should be happy, but the thing is i dont know whether i want an internship or not even before i went for the interview.

so, i'm gonna list down the pros and cons of both internship and job here.

INTERNSHIP

Pros:
- it's confirmed already
- it's actually related to my degree
- experience, d'oh.
- near to the post office and i can just post the items that people ordered (hahaha ya totally unrelated but hello, totally an advantage ok.)
- ee fei is gonna be there, so we can suffer together.
- erm i cannot think of anymore right now next...

Cons:
- so far, (ok not that far it's just like going to college but still) which brings me to the next point...
- hello you think petrol cheap ah? i'm probably gonna drive there so again, you think petrol cheap ah?
- they pay me, but they dont pay me that much. yes i know it's an internship and they're already paying a lot of an internship but job pays more. so there.
- the hours are not confirmed - i may have to work until 9 on some nights (though i can go in late the next day).
- from what i hear about the job description, quite sien.

JOB

Cons:
- the main thing is money baby. i already counted, and even if i'm just gonna earn RM4 per hour i'm still gonna make more than internship, erm duh.
- hello it's damn near ok, which means i can walk there, which means no need waste petrol, which means my parents can save whole lotta moolah for the next 6 weeks (see i'm such a good daughter i think of my parents' money).
- i can work with my friends hahaha so childish wtf but true ok not so sien also.

Cons:
- totally unrelated to my degree
- not confirmed yet
- long hours
- very hard wanna go post office hahaha ya it's a disadvantage ok how am i gonna post the stuff to people then since im gonna work?
- cannot think anymore since i dont know the details yet

ok that's it i think.

SO HOW?

ok actually i know already hahaha, i'm gonna wait until tomorrow and see how is the job like. if not, then i'll just call the internship fellow and say i can start on monday.

So...semester 2 ends today.

I've got 1 and 1/2 months of holiday.

Now what?

Internship or job, or bump around at home? obviously, job pays more right, but internship is better in terms of experience(?). if i bump at home, i'll probably become fat and unfit lol. cannot ok.

hah anyway i applied for one on thursday i think, and i got a reply. probably will call tomorrow to enquire and stuff.

anyway, if i cannot get internship, i'll probably look for a job near my house. so can save petrol. inside desa parkcity itself will be ideal. i can just walk to my workplace hahaha.

so, pictures soon ok. promise. =)

so let me summarize a few things that had happened to me this past few weeks (those that i actually remember).

there's this contest by Tongue in Chic which is really interesting if you love clothes and stuff like that. they are participating in Urbanscapes, which is 'the city's first all-day creative arts festival", as quoted from their website.

anyway, you are supposed to create your own ensemble using Polyvore, and post it on your blog, then send an email to them.

first 200 entries will get this rm20 voucher from Shopaholics Unite!, and 10 best entries will win this really cute tshirt specially design by Kitsch for Urbanscapes.

i realise this entry is kinda late already, so i probably cannot get the voucher, and have you seen the tshirt? it's super cute ok. aiya it's probably wishful thinking on my part as well because i'm sure there would be lots of fabulous outfits by other people.

nevertheless, playing with polyvore is really fun. i play until i'm so sien of finding clothes ok. haha. anyway, i've created 3. not on purpose lo. it's just that i see everything also so nice, and when i see my saved items, it's enough to create more ensembles. so, i created 3. there's more actually, but kinda tired of finding accessories already haha.

anyway, my first ensemble. erm, dont ask me the title la it's super lame. plus, i kinda forgot about it already.

tadah! it's kinda like a girly outfit. what if the pink accessories and stuff. so, i tone it down with some blacks. i super love the bag and shoes. so pretty. actually, i love 98% of the stuffs at polyvore, but i probably cannot afford 99% of them.

haha. ok so continue with my ensemble. the cute donut badges and the tree is just for decoration purposes, because i find them really cute. hehe. of course shades is a must right, as well as a camera to take pictures. the pink earrings and headband is just to match the dress. anyway, i think this is a very cute outfit. casual for a girly day out with your girlfriends.

ok next. erm, i named this chic chick. hahahah dont laugh ok no inspiration at that time.

first off, penguin and bear is for decoration purposes. so cute right heh? the ruffled blouse has a smart casual feel to it, and i paired it with a red high-waisted pants. i tried finding for electric blue pants, but dont have so i settled with red. i chose yellow accessories because i like the shade of yellow can. it would be better if they are paired with electric blue pants but nvm.

yellow wedges, clutch and headband as accessories. imagine putting your hair up with the headband. i think this will look really cute and chic. erm the nail polish is there because i dont know what to put already. otherwise, it will look pretty empty.

haha this emsemble is really bright and eye catching, but with clothes like that of course you would want some attention right.

ok next. i forgot what i named this already. probably something really lame as well.

ok only the bird for decoration this time. erm, this is also casual street smart. hahah. sorry am bad at describing stuff. anyway, love the dress. colorful necklaces for layering, and oversized bag to complete the look.

at first i didnt know whether to add the opaque tights or not, but at last i did. thought it will make the outfit brighter. at first i chose this really nice t-bar black heels, but i think it probabl wouldnt look very nice with the tights and all, so i changed to this mary janes heels. anyway, still nice i guess.

anyway, that's about it la. there are tons and tons more of pretty clothes in polyvore, but there's just too many to browse everything. so, this is what i got.

i realise that it's kinda plain and simple, but nvm la give you a chance to imagine how the outfit will look like on you without all the background distracting you haha.

whoops. have been neglecting my blog for far too long havent I?

anyway, to justify my absence, i've been busy (dont i always). busy with assignments, busy with college (classes for 5 days in a week aint fun let me tell you), busy with this little side project that i'm working on right now, and busy coming up with ideas for the fundraising that we've gotta do.

it's for a freaking assignment (the fundraising i mean), and it involves a lot of work. heck i think this is the first assignment where i actually get started weeks before its due date. -.-''

together with other assignments and stuff going on, this short sem is so not fun.

ok too many negative things going on huh. on another note, i'm actually a bit (note a bit ok) excited for this fundraising thingie.

i just dont like the finding sponsorship part. damn annoying ok asking people to sponsor. dont even ask me to take out money from my own pocket to pay because i'm stingy like that and i'm broke (ok maybe a bit of money i dont mind but this is a freaking assignment ok when do you ever do this for an assignment huh) .

and hor, i know i have this super outdated batch of pictures from steph's birthday dinner that i've yet to post up. i will do it soon.

aiya soon is like in the weekend, since i dont think i will going to any of the junk sales this weekend, and there are like 3 of them.

fuhh was super tired after walking the whole day, but it was fun nevertheless. we got some really good bargains as well.

ok. time to rant about college again.

my. schedule. sucks.

classes from monday - friday is already bad enough. coupled with bad tutorial timings, 3 hours break on mon (on alternate weeks) and 4 hours break on tue (on alternate weeks again) just made is 100000 times worse.

spent our 4 hours break yesterday in dsa main block. we wanted to play the game of life but pieces were missing. so potong steam can. then we wanted to play pictionary, but most of us doesnt know how to play + the rules were kinda complicated to explain. at last we settled on taboo.

we were happily playing there for a couple of rounds. then someone announced that results came out. so all of us ran to the computer lab to check out results.

sigh. my results are satisfactory i guess, but not what i expected. anyhow, i will not emo about it and hope that the 2 more subjects have that kind of results also. haih so hard to get A- ok. i lose hope already. haha.

i think i had more things to talk about, but i forget already.

trip to waterfall + sunway lagoon

i have been neglecting you. i'm so sorry. i didnt mean to do that, but i've been busy and when i got the time, i didnt feel like updating you.

it's alright now. i'm back to updating again, and i'll try to update more frequently as well. no promises there though.

anyway, long long overdue pictures of the waterfall at bukit tinggi. i forgot the resort's name, but accommodation is free because my parents' friends own the rooms. went there the night after exams, back the day after.

and no, i didnt went to the french thingie or the japanese garden thingie. mainly stayed at the apartment. the adults drank at night, and the next day, waterfall, then back home.

come monday, me and some bachelor of psychology buddies went sunway lagoon. some people ffk us! hahah.

met at sunway pyramid to have brunch at sakae sushi. i was late but luckily not the latest one. :)

there were 3 guys and 3 girls, so when it came to the rides there were enough people. went on most of the rides there. me, alvin, and jie xing were the scaredy cat ones who didnt want to sit on the 360degrees pirate ship.

hahaha luckily got people accompany me being scared on roller coasters and stuff. when me and jie xing sat on the scarier roller coaster in sunway lagoon, we kept on saying 'omg so scared, shit, shit'. hahah. it wasnt that scary la, but give me some credit ok it was the first time i sat on that roller coaster.

it was very fun. the only thing i regretted was not taking any pictures at all in sunway lagoon. so not like me lo. but then the camera was in the locker and we went to wet park first. and we came out late, just around 30 minutes before the door close - scared cannot get back rm10 deposit.

celebrated kathy's birthday last friday, a day late because not everyone is free on the actual date. anyway, went to look out point in ampang for dinner, which is basically 'small genting' when translated directly from cantonese.

there were many of us, and so there were around 6 cars going there. most of us dont know how to go there and had to follow someone. so we were basically in a line on the road.

we were actually going around 80km/j? and the suddenly there's an emergency brake, and out of the 6 cars, 5 cars had a minor crash. 1 car's bumper fell off, and had to call the tow truck and everything. dont really know the whole story of that car.

the whole story was kinda long la to be told in a blog post, plus *cough* i'm lazy *cough*. but the point is it was kinda abit scary haha but everyone was safe. in the end we made it there at 9 something.

we celebrated kathy's birthday yesterday. the night started off with a bang. haha. wanna know what happen? wait for a few days or maybe until after my exams then i will post up pictures and stories. :)

one more thing, i know my exams coming in less than a week, plus a quiz on monday, but i dont feel anything. anything as in stress, nervous, switching to study mode kinda thing. why am i like that?

everyone around me has started feeling it and stuff like that aka they all started studying already. why am i not like that? i know i should really start studying but my body and brain dont function together right now haha.

marks for quizzes and extra credit for PSY105 - research methods are already out. i got 8.40/10% for quizzes and for extra credit, i got the full 5%.

confession: i so do not deserve my quiz marks. at the beginning of the semester, i did most of the quizzes myself, but later in the semester, i copied most of it. most of the credit should be given to wengkhye and yizhen actually. without them there is no chance i can get this high for quizzes. i know both of you read my blog so yeah thanks. as for extra credit, i already expected full marks so no worries.

am here to blog about cousin's wedding. it was at Le Meridien Hotel. both the wedding and the dinner was there. they already got married in London 2 weeks before coming here. even so, whole thing was super sweet.

anyway, as always there's pictures in my posts. i've nothing else to blog about. these few days my life is filled with assignments sigh.

so, on wednesday we got bored waiting for the briefing to help at the colloqium at the auditorium. what else, camwhore lo.

fyi colloqium is this thing where they imitates real psychology conference. all the seniors are supposed to present an oral presentation for 30 minutes on a topic, or draw posters. don't really know the details but we are required to attend it. and ahem cough us kiasu people of course wanna help out for a measly 2.1% extra credit.

have you noticed today's a leap year? ok fine 15 mins ago as i was typing this. i really wanted to get this post up on the 29th of february, but uploading the pics took quite a long time. not my fault ok blogger was kinda being a bitch.

so erm, happy leap year! :)

went out with my college girlfriends this week to kill time. we went midvalley to shop and watch movie.

and oh, we took sticker pictures! it's been such a long time since i played with those machines. i remember last time we are sure to take sticker pictures everytime we go 1u, but at last stopped cause it is a very expensive thing to do. anyhow, was sure kinda fun to decorate those pictures again, although we ran out of ideas on how to decorate the pics.

and then we went home. didnt take much pictures on that day.

today, made a spontaneous decision to go 1u. go there shop and kill time and eat. haha. we went wong kok char chan teng. was so super full until i felt so ewwy when i see food, and i kept on complaining to them. heh sorry la.

pictures very lousy cause taken with my lousy camera phone. what you see on the screen is just effects of sharpening and all that stuff. a little bit only la actually. barely make a difference. haha of course my camera phone is not THAT bad, just that after having a digi cam, everything on the camera phone looks very bad to me.

we had chocolate fondue! erm but it's not very nice. anyhow what can you expect right cause it's cheap for a chocolate fondue. will be a one time thing for me.

yi zhen's rice with portugese chicken chop. the sauce is like curry-ish but not spicy. i reckon it should be ok. aiya the chicken chop is actually not that small. it's just that we only remember to take food pictures after we started eating.

mine. glass noodle soup with vegetable fishballs. it's actually not bad if you like this kinda food.

fruits. we ordered the set lunch that came with the main, a soup, a drink and this. forget to take the picture of the soup though. by the time we remembered we had already finished it.

and after that, my next paper is on the 15th of march. that one ah, later only study la. so long some more. yup only 2 midterms paper. the other 2 subjects doesnt have any midterms. i dont even know if i should be happy or sad, because without midterms, i would have to red the whole book for finals, compared to only half a book for subjects with midterms.

cny officially ended yesterday, which means no more angpau. :( so i counted the money that i got just now, and erm i guess i should happy. i'm keeping most of it in the bank though, and the rest oh let's just say that im going shopping soon. :) but aiya, i will try to save, because i'm very discipline wan ok. =P

on the other hand, today's a good and bad(?) day for me.

because i ate like a pig today -.-''. seriously, after i wake up, it's lunch. after lunch, two mandarin oranges because i felt like it. search for food and came up with all those yummy cny snacks. ate while watching tv. family friends came, eat eat eat eat eat. drank practically the whole box of milo because the little girl didnt like it. after that, dinner at this really nice restaurant and eat some more because the food was so nice.

omg...i look like i'm 3 months pregnant now criesssssss.

because i fell down the restaurant stairs while i was going down, and people were watching. omg malu.

my butt hurts now wtf.

because i got lots of ang pau today HAHA.

of assignments and a glimpse into my college life.

we are supposed to do this natural observation assignment, which means to observe people in their natural environment. so we had to rack our brains on what to observe. at last we came up with observing whether couples of different races hold hands or hold waist.

we figured if we have to watch people for 3 hours, we might as well make it interesting. we did our assignment in mcd midvalley, overlooking gsc's area. we were suppose to be unobtrusive and inconspicuous, but we were being kinda obvious. haha. and instead of separating, we sat together. =P

omg it was so boring. so we split it into 2 days, last sat and tue. on sat, we went after our freshman lunch. karie fetched us there. reached there, saw another group doing the same assignment. talk about coincidence man. since there was no place, we sat with them.

it was on the 26th of january. omg that day i was sooooo super tired. it was in the afternoon la but still after the previous day i was really tired.

anyway, the dress code was semi formal, and we were required to wear these academic robes. it started with a few speeches and then lunch. overall, it was not bad actually. the main thing was the food which was good. :)

i really dont mind all that, but the movie starts at 9. omg la so early. on a saturday some more. my classes dont even start that early. i'm so gonna have a hard time waking up i tell you.

anyway, the movie we are required to watch is lorenzo's oil.

it's about this boy who has this really rare disease. seeing that there's no cure for this, the parents set out to educate themselves more about this disease so they can find a cure for their child.

michele said that there's a happy ending, and i reckon this will be a good movie. i mean, if not they wont ask us to watch right, other than psychological purposes. lol.

let's hope i dont cry during the movie, or worse, fall asleep.

ok this is the second part of the day, where jul had a bbq to celebrate her farewell aka her going back to aussie.

we met at jul's house after coming back from the curve to get ready the stuff and all that. then, we went to her dad's shop to bbq, because there was too many people to have it in her house. why is there so many people you ask? because her brother is having his farewell too as he's going to aussie soon as well. so it's like a 2-in-1 thing.

phew that was the last of it. we took so many pictures, and it was really fun. it would probably be a really really long time before we get together and be crazy again.

coming up next, my psychology freshman lunch, and our research. all outdated posts. i've been kinda busy. haha. so can't blame me.

i am so happy that practically the whole of next week is a holiday for me!!! this is because next week is adp's term break. so the subjects that i took that is in adp has no classes. as for the class on wednesday, the lecturer told us that the class would be cancelled because it's cny eve. wheeeeee. so basically i only have a 2 hour class on mon. :D

cny is coming!!! money's coming in. i dont have to be broke again. :)
